Fees (For most common procedures)

New Patients

First-time patients will be evaluated to determine the type of service needed. Fees listed are for patients being seen within the town of Jupiter. Areas outside of Jupiter may be subject to additional fees. Within Jupiter, the minimum visit fee is $200. Weekend, holiday, or evening visits may be subject to different fees.

Comprehensive Exam (CDT D0150)

150

Full exam for new or established patient that includes an evaluation of the entire mouth including teeth, gums, soft tissues, TMJ, oral cancer screening, and a review of past medical and dental history.

Emergency/Limited Exam (CDT D0140)

150

Limited or focused evaluation that addresses a single concern within the mouth.

Full-mouth X-rays (CDT D0210)

100

This is an intra-oral series of X-rays that allows the dentist to evaluate decay, bone loss, infections, and other possible hidden problems.

Preventive

Preventive care includes services that minimize the risk of developing dental problems such as cavities or gum disease.

Cleaning (CDT D1110)

125

A preventive cleaning removes plaque, light tartar, and light staining from the exposed surfaces of teeth, in order to prevent gingivitis (gum inflammation) in an otherwise healthy mouth.

Fluoride Varnish (CDT D1206)

40

A fluoride varnish is applied to tooth surfaces to make it more resistant to cavities.  Fluoride strengthens enamel and is recommended for children and patients with high risk for decay due to medications or diet.

Sealant (CDT D1351)

75

A sealant reduces the risk of cavities.  A thin resin is painted into the grooves of back teeth in order to seal crevices where food and bacteria can get trapped.

Fillings & Crowns

Fillings and crowns are sometimes necessary to restore a tooth to a more ideal form and function if it has been damaged by decay or fracture.

Tooth-colored fillings (CDT D2330 - D2394)

180-550

Composite or tooth-colored fillings and bondings can vary in price depending on the location of the affected tooth, and the size of the filling.  These are metal-free, esthetic restorations that will restore and enhance the affected tooth.

Crown (CDT D2740 and D2950)

1600

A porcelain crown (and associated core build-up) rebuilds and strengthens a tooth after a root canal, trauma, or decay, and serves to reinforce and support a weakened tooth.

Periodontal Procedures

Periodontal treatment is sometimes necessary when there is inflammation of the gums or bone loss that requires special attention to prevent its progression.

Fine-Scaling or Gingivitis Cleaning (CDT D4346)

200

Fine-scaling is a cleaning that is necessary when there is heavier plaque and tartar which has led to gum inflammation and bleeding.  This treatment requires more time than a preventive cleaning and will aim to get you back on track to a healthy mouth.

SRP or Deep Cleaning (CDT D4342 and D4341), per quadrant

175-250

This is a periodontal treatment that is necessary when active periodontitis has been diagnosed.  With this procedure,  tartar is removed from tooth structure below the gums, and tooth surface is left smooth in order to reduce the accumulation of bacteria.  Performed per quadrant (upper left, upper right, lower left, lower right).

Periodontal Maintenance (CDT D4910)

200

This is a type of cleaning for patients who have been treated for periodontitis in the past and are now stable (gum disease has been halted).  This cleaning is usually performed at 3-4 month intervals and will include careful monitoring of gum and bone levels to ensure periodontal disease remains under control.

The sample fees listed above are minimum fees only, and are accurate through 2025. We offer many more procedures besides the ones listed above, so if you have questions about a procedure that you do not see, please give us a call or text us at 561.614.4246
